Children's Playground Equipment
Our focus is creating playgrounds using commercial playground equipment in enriched design settings. We can offer you the choice of any manufactured playground equipment. We have access to all manufacturers, domestic and international. Natural landforms, planting materials, and custom design enhance our playgrounds. We have extensive experience in children’s play and early childhood education.
We select children’s playground equipment to be safe, sensory rich, stimulating, developmentally appropriate, curriculum-based, accessible, and cost effective.
Most of our work is for Day Care and Child Care centers. We are used to working on tight budgets for play spaces that are small in size. We can, and do, push this envelope to provide environments that are high in play value, encourage exercise and development of motor skills, and stimulate fantasy play.
Playcare, Inc. designs playgrounds for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, school age children and for children with special needs.
Our resources are commercial playground manufacturers, architects, landscape architects, plant nurseries, playground installers, and colleagues at American Society for Testing Materials, the Consumer Product Safety Commission, and the National Parks and Recreation Society.
We design school playgrounds in Philadelphia and the surrounding counties. We also design playgrounds for public parks, early childhood settings, housing developments in urban and rural sites.
